The Division of Clinical Laboratory Science celebrated the successes of three Master’s of Clinical Laboratory Science and twenty Bachelor’s of Clinical Laboratory Science graduates at our departmental graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the Friday Center.
During the ceremony each graduate introduced their family and friends and shared their future plans. CLS Program Director Dr. Tara Moon encouraged and challenged them to continue striving for excellence in their professional careers. She also recognized several individuals and groups for meritorious achievements or contributions:
- BSCLS graduate Nadiya Patel received the 2025 Outstanding Senior in Clinical Laboratory Science Award
- Clinical instructors Christian Cristobal, Sheila Mollin, Rebecca Mullins, and Rebecca Rogers received Outstanding Clinical Instructor Awards
- Assistant Professor Susan Taylor received the 2025 Louise M. Ward Excellence in Teaching Award
- Ten members of the CLS Service Society received honor cords for their dedication and service to the program and profession
- BSCLS graduates Nadiya Patel and Mary Kate Rolland, chairs of the 2025 Senior Class Campaign, presented a ceremonial check representing $2,665.00 in pledges from the Class of 2025 over the next five years. 100% of the class participated in the campaign.
