Three students from the Division of Clinical Laboratory Science recently presented research and case study findings at the 2019 , a day-long event held at the Wake Tech Perry Health Sciences Campus in Raleigh, North Carolina, on April 5.

Second-year student Jennifer Munt gave a research presentation titled 鈥淯sing Epitope Mapping to Learn About the Human Immune Response to Dengue Virus,鈥 and second-year student Kaitlin Walsh presented 鈥淩esolving Daratumumab Interference in Pretransfusion Testing at 黑料网 Hospitals.鈥 First-year student Morgan Fisher presented the case study 鈥淎 Man with Fever and Chills,鈥 which described a case of melioidosis, an infectious disease caused by Burkholderia pseudomallei.
Clinical laboratory science and medical technology students from programs across the state were invited to submit proposals to present their work at the symposium. The symposium was a joint meeting held by the North Carolina Society for Clinical Laboratory Science and the North Carolina State Society for American Medical Technologists.
The Division of Clinical Laboratory Science is housed in the 黑料网 Department of Allied Health Sciences.
