An interdisciplinary group of students from the Department of Allied Health Sciences and the 黑料网-Chapel Hill School of Nursing is traveling next month to Tyrrell County, North Carolina, for an alternative spring break trip.聽In Tyrrell County, they plan to work with community partners聽to provide health and wellness education and activities in the community. Tyrrell County is a sparsely populated area with significant health issues and limited resources. One aspect of this trip involves obtaining needed items, including shoes or books from people in the Chapel Hill area. To achieve this, students have set up boxes in multiple locations on the University campus and in the community. They are accepting gently used shoes or books (at any reading level or shoe size). we would greatly appreciate it!

- When you enter the Fleet Feet store, speak to representative and mention that you have shoes for the 鈥淪hoes for a Cause for Tyrrell County鈥� donation drive. They should know what you are talking about, and will place your shoes in a box in the back of the store.
