Congratulations to GMB student Kylie VanDerMolen聽(Rob Dowen lab), whose paper will be published in the January 28 issue of Cell Reports.
The paper is titled “Non-cell-autonomous regulation of mTORC2 by Hedgehog signaling maintains lipid homeostasis鈥�. Kylie鈥檚 study employed聽C. elegans and mammalian cells to investigate mechanisms of crosstalk between the Hedgehog developmental signaling and two homeostatic pathways – mTORC2 and p38. This signaling axis simultaneously governs growth rate and lipid homeostasis in聽C. elegans.
