The Terry Magnuson Award is presented each year at the BCB/GMB/Genetics Scientific Retreat. The 2024 Retreat was held in Myrtle Beach, SC September 29-October 1, 2024.
This award recognizes outstanding graduating students in Curriculum in Genetics and Molecular Biology (GMB) and the Curriculum in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB). Our 2024 recipient Jeanne Marie McPherson was selected on the basis of research excellence or other significant contributions to the field or community.
