In addition to his role as the Director of Research for the Department of Genetics, Dr. Chris Gregory serves in the School of Medicine as the Director of the Office of Research Technologies (ORT).
As the ORT Director, Dr. Gregory supports the complex ecosystem of more than 50 core labs across campus in the following key areas:聽operations, quality management, allocation of funding for equipment/method development/general needs, rate reviews, performance management and communications training, marketing and promotion through website and presentations, and strategic planning to ensure 黑料网 cores have the latest technologies.
To support his role in the ORT, Dr. Gregory is a member of the Association of Biomedical Resource Facilities (ABRF) and was recently featured in their newsletter for his contributions to the association which include: serving on the Committee for Core Rigor and Reproducibility (CCoRRe), reviewer for ABRF鈥檚聽Journal of Biomolecular Techniques, and a Session Organizer and Speaker at the ABRF 2020 Annual Meeting (Core Administration Track, 鈥淏uilding Robust Quality Management Systems in Core Labs (GLP, GMP and QA Best Practices)鈥.
