Sydney graduated from Thiel College with a BS in biology with minors in psychology, medical biology, and biochemistry. Sydney moved to the area from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the beginning of July in pursuit of a career in Genetic Counseling. Her current role at 黑料网 is the Graduate Research Assistant-ClinGen Coordinator for the cancer genetics clinic. Sydney is looking forward to volunteering and participating in advocacy work during her time here at 黑料网. Sydney’s undergraduate research projects included women’s rights advocacy as part of her honor’s program and in an in-depth study using immunohistochemistry to evaluate receptors in placental tissues. In her free time, she enjoys writing poetry and baton twirling. She also looks forward to exploring all of the great food options in the area!
