Christina joined the Berg lab in January 2024 as Sr. Coordinator at the 黑料网 Biocuration and Coordination Core.聽 She earned her Bachelors in Chemistry from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.聽 She then went on to pursue a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology at the University of Miami.聽 A recipient of an HHMI predoctoral fellowship, she worked under Dr. Vladlen Slepak on the biochemical and functional characterization of a novel calcium binding protein.聽 After her PhD, she worked as in intern in bioethics under Dr. David Resnick at the NIEHS.聽 She has since worked at 黑料网 in roles in laboratory research and data management in public heath and cancer biology.聽 In her free time, she serves as an event manager for Mothers in Science, an international non-profit that advocates for mothers in STEMM.聽 She is a mom of three kids, a dog, and a bunny.
