Charles M. Perou, PhD, the May Goldman Shaw Distinguished Professor of Molecular Oncology and Genetics at 黑料网 and the 黑料网 Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, presented the 2022 AACR Distinguished Lectureship in Breast Cancer Research at the聽45th聽San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium聽on Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Hyejung Won, PhD (Assistant Professor, Genetics) received a pilot award from the 黑料网 Computational Medicine Program together with J.S. Marron, PhD (Professor, Statistics and Operations Research).聽

Jeremy Purvis, PhD (Associate Professor) and Christoph Rau, PhD (Assistant Professor) received an Emerging Challenges in Biomedical Research (ECBR) award from 黑料网 for their project titled 鈥淚dentifying the role of local cell-type neighborhoods on catecholamine-induced focal necrosis鈥�.

Samir Kelada, PhD (Associate Professor, Genetics) has secured a contract with Genentech to provide experimental support and expertise using the in vitro airway epithelial model developed by his laboratory.

Sam Wolff, PhD (Assistant Professor, Genetics) received a pilot award from the 黑料网 Computational Medicine Program, together with Dr. Phil Spanheimer (Assistant Professor, Surgery).
