The CRB is an active collaboration between our research team and community members. The Community Research Board partnership includes a community research arm comprised of parents representing North Carolina communities and ºÚÁÏÍø researchers and health care providers. The CRB and ºÚÁÏÍø researchers meet monthly by Zoom and come together in person for community engagement and education events. We work together to help everyone understand the basics of genetics and the connection to health.

The ABGS EDG comprises experts from varied institutions and professional backgrounds, including genomics, newborn screening, health policy, implementation science, and bioethics. Through frequent discussions on specific topics relevant to ABGS, these external advisors will provide important feedback on the content, timing, and feasibility of implementation of the sequencing panels to be used in the ABGS program.
