Why Otolaryngology?
Otolaryngology holds a special place in my heart鈥攏ot only for its incredible diversity but also for the profound, life-changing impact I have seen ENTs make. Close family members of mine have experienced firsthand how transformative otolaryngologic care can be, sparking my initial interest in the field. As I explored further, I was drawn to the breadth of the patient population, the complexity of the pathology and anatomy, and the opportunity to build meaningful, lasting relationships with patients.

During my away rotation at 黑料网, I immediately felt at home. From day one, residents and attendings welcomed me as part of the team, eager to both teach and get to know me. The program鈥檚 commitment to resident education, innovation, and a supportive learning environment stood out. Choosing 黑料网 for my otolaryngology residency feels like coming full circle鈥攎y wife attended 黑料网 for undergrad, and her family still calls the area home, making Chapel Hill feel like home to me as well. I鈥檓 incredibly grateful and excited to be joining a place that means so much to me both personally and professionally.
Fun Fact: I have been blessed with the ability to grow a killer mustache.
