Developing the clinical research workforce is central to the mission of the CRSO. We will work to develop and disseminate impactful training opportunities for both faculty and staff.<\/p>\n

Personnel Profile and Training System (PaTS)<\/h2>\n

SOM-wide web-based system for all clinical research personnel to receive and document training.<\/p>\n

PaTS was decommissioned in February 2025 as part of transitions of responsibility to OVCR and One ºÚÁÏÍø Clinical Research. Please contact the Office of Clinical Research Compliance for any future needs related to the PaTS application.<\/em><\/p>\n

Clinical Trialist Training Program<\/a><\/h2>\n

A joint initiative between the CRSO, NC TraCS, and LCCC that provides 10% salary support for one year of training to develop new site investigators for multicenter clinical trials.<\/p>\n

Clinical Trialist Training Bootcamp<\/a><\/h2>\n

Four-session bootcamp to educate current and future site Principal Investigators on industry-sponsored clinical trials.<\/p>\n

SOP Information Sessions<\/a><\/h2>\n

Question and Answer-based sessions that focus on SOM SOPs.<\/p>\n
