The 鈥檚 mission is to help scientists with their research, when it involves light microscopy, electron microscopy and image analysis. We provide training and assistance in all three areas, as well as extensive sample preparation services for transmission and scanning electron microscopy. In consultation with researchers we can advise which instruments will most advance their research, train them on the relevant equipment and provide continued assistance. We can provide advice and support at every stage of a project, from sample preparation, to image acquisition and data analysis.

Among our most unique offerings are:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Training and assistance on a light-sheet microscope for cellular imaging of large, fixed, cleared tissues and organs (see figure).

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Consultation on image analysis workflows.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Access to staff with decades of experience in electron microscopy sample preparation.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 A spinning disk confocal microscope ideal for fast, gentle imaging of live samples with optical sectioning, as well as to speed up confocal tiling of very large samples (coming in October 2019, with support from the Core Facilities Advocacy Committee).
