Margeaux Marbrey, a postdoctoral fellow in the Caron laboratory, was awarded the K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award from the NICHD entitled 鈥淚nvestigating Implications of E-Cigarettes on Pregnancy Success and Reproductive Fitness.鈥� She aims to examine how e-cigarette usage affects the initiation and progression of pregnancy and understand how e-cigarette flavorings can impact the fetal-maternal environment.

The Caron Lab was awarded an R03 from NCATS entitled 鈥淚lluminating Orphan GPCRs in Lymphatics鈥�, as part of the trans-NIH Illuminating the Druggable Genome Initiative.聽 The goal is to develop unique tools and resources to characterize under-studied, and pharmacologically-tractable G protein coupled receptors in lymphatic vessels.
