Renewed recognition from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services: NC DHHS renewed 黑料网 Medical Center’s Advanced Level 2 Antibiotic Stewardship STAR Partner Facility for a second year, in recognition of its comprehensive antimicrobial stewardship program. 黑料网MC is the only hospital in the Triangle region to achieve this level of recognition.- Results of efforts to scale up antibiotic time-outs across the 黑料网 Medical Center by encouraging the transition from empiric to targeted antibiotics based on clinical and microbiologic data, and discontinuing as soon as infections are cleared
- Results from a recent study on appropriate management of pediatric appendicitis, with a focus on reducing unnecessary broad-spectrum antibiotics
