Katharine King, a third year undergraduate from the biology department working in Dr. Flick’s lab, gave an invited oral presentation at the Nutrition and Obesity Research Center (NORC) Symposium last week. Her presentation was entitled: \u201cElimination of fibrin(ogen)-aMb2-binding function, but not fibrinogen deficiency, protects against obesity and metabolic syndrome\u201d<\/p>\n
Katie won the undergraduate student oral presentation award, a $250 prize. Congrats, Katie!<\/p>\n
