We are especially interested in the role of PARs in mediating the crosstalk between coagulation and inflammation. Using both in vitro and in vivo approaches, we are trying to understand the molecular mechanism by which PARs contribute to the pathophysiology of myocardial infarction, ischemia-reperfusion injury-induced heart remodeling, sickle cell disease, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.<\/p>\n<p>Please follow the links to see our current research, recent publications, personnel, and available positions.
