This week’s excellent seminar speaker, Chrystal Starbird PhD, was recognized nationally with the recognition by Cell Press with the Rising Black Scientist Award. Congratulations!
Chrystal Starbird PhD is a current postdoctoral fellow at Yale University in the Department of Pharmacology. Dr. Starbird also has a very high profile in the community as a leading Black Scientist and an advocate for Diversity and Equity, both at Yale, as Co-Founder and Co-Chair of Yale Black Postdoctoral Association.
Prior to joining Yale she could be found at Vanderbilt University, PhD, Chemical and Physical Biology 2011 – 2017, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, B.S. Biology 2006 – 2008, Central Carolina Community College, A.S. Science 2005 – 2006.
