Randy Stockbridge PhD, Associate Professor, Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology
University of Michigan

¶Ù°ù.ÌýStockbridge received her PhD from ºÚÁÏÍø Biochemistry and Biophysics in 2010. She did her dissertation research in Richard Wolfenden’s lab studying thermodynamics of phosphoryl transfer reactions catalyzed by kinases. After postdoctoral studies at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, ¶Ù°ù.ÌýStockbridge started her independent lab at the University of Michigan in the department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology in 2016. She is also an affiliated faculty with the Biophysics Program at the University of Michigan. Research in her lab focuses on the structures and mechanisms of bacterial ion channels and transporters. Her research is funded by the NIH, NSF, and Burroughs Wellcome Fund, and in 2021, she received the Margaret Oakley Dayhoff award from the Biophysical Society.
