The GPSG senator of the BCBP has to fulfill some requirements throughout the academic year so that the BCBP department is eligible for a monetary allocation from the GPSG (Graduate and Professional Student Government). In the 2021-2022 academic year, all requirements were fulfilled by Dalia Fleifel, the GPSG senator for the BCBP, which included attending 6 of the 8 GPSG monthly meetings, voting on legislation, and holding a town hall for the BCBP students. At the end of this academic year, the department received a $212 monetary allocation to spend for the benefit of the students. A free lunch event was held on April 29th, 2022 for 19 of the BCBP students where they got together and enjoyed the nice spring weather at the GMB lawn!
