In the 2022 holiday season, I hope you plan to spend time with friends and family and remember to take steps that support your own mental health and well-being. This season can be particularly challenging for some individuals due to a variety of personal reasons including financial pressures, family problems, loneliness, grief, health worries, and increased levels of stress. Remember the importance of nutrition, exercise, sleep, healthy relationships, and stress management for your overall wellness.
In 2023, I will continue communicating with you about a variety of mental health resources and wellness programming in the coming year. Until then, here are resources available at ºÚÁÏÍø to support students, postdocs, faculty, and staff:
- (CAPS, for students)
- Mental Health & Wellness Counselors (for MD & PhD students)
- Wellness resources (for faculty and staff)
Be well,
Jill
