We are excited to announce the upcoming open nomination period (June 1- June 30) for the 2025 APP Excellence Awards. These awards are designed to honor and recognize the contributions of our exceptional APPs. Each award highlights a unique aspect of excellence.  The seven award categories include:

• Excellence in Clinical Practice
• Excellence in Leadership (Formal Leader)
• Excellence in Leadership (Informal Leader)
• Excellence in Teaching
• Unsung Hero
• Outstanding New Teammate
• Physician Partner in Excellence

We encourage you to participate by nominating your deserving colleagues. Nominations will be open from June 1 to June 30. We welcome and encourage nominations from our teammates, including APPs, physicians, staff, administrators, etc. We ask that you coordinate with colleagues to submit nominations for deserving individuals. Including insights from teammates across different disciplines provides valuable perspective.

The nominations will be reviewed, and winners will be selected by our APP Selection Committee. The awards will be presented the last week of September during National APP Recognition Week during Connect and Celebrate: An Evening to Honor APPs.  Please take time to nominate your colleagues and help us honor them for their contributions and outstanding work. Review of nominations will occur between 7/7/25-7/25/25. If you are interested in being part of our APP Selection Committee to select the winners of these outstanding awards,

Eligibility for Awards:

• Any Advanced Practice Provider (APP) credentialed through ºÚÁÏÍø Health at ºÚÁÏÍø Medical Center (Certified Anesthesiology Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant)
• Physicians at the same entities are eligible for the Partner in Excellence award.
• Part-time or full-time
• Previous award winners are ineligible the following year in their awarded category but remain eligible in other categories. Last year’s winners will be part of the selection committee and introduce/present their category’s award for this year.
