BIOSKETCH
Dr. Khyati Patel received her baccalaureate degree in nursing from the Thomas Jefferson University at Philadelphia, PA. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and MBA@黑料网 certificate in leadership from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC. As part of her doctoral project she developed an onboarding program for Advanced Practice Providers coming into Neurology by creating an online learning and onboarding platform. She began her nursing career as a family nurse practitioner at a privately owned family practice, followed by gaining experience in Urgent Care setting. She then switched to specialty practice in Neurology. As a nurse practitioner in the field of neurology, she had an opportunity to work on inpatient consult team and see patients in outpatient clinic. She currently maintains a clinical practice in 黑料网 neurology outpatient clinic within general neurology division.
Professional interests include teaching, advanced practice provider mentorship, training and role integration, quality improvement.
In her spare time she enjoys hiking and travelling with her two girls and her husband. She also takes pleasure in cooking and baking.
