Peggy McNaull, MD
Dr. Peggy McNaull leads the Pediatric Anesthesiology Division at ºÚÁÏÍø. Dr. McNaull attended medical school at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, completed her residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology at ºÚÁÏÍø, and then completed her fellowship in Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesia at Texas Children’s Hospital. Dr. McNaull has led a number of investigator-initiated studies, including a current study examining the ability of a simple intervention to reduce post-operative vomiting in children. Dr. McNaull’s past research includes a study examining the institutional experience of children receiving intranasal dexmedetomidine for pediatric procedural sedation. Dr. McNaull and colleagues also published an extensive review of the literature addressing pediatric fluid management in Anesthesia and Analgesia. Dr. McNaull’s past awards and honors include being a recipient of the ºÚÁÏÍø Robert D. Dripps Memorial Award for the Outstanding Graduate Resident in Anesthesiology and the Resident Research Fellow from the North Carolina Society of Anesthesiologists.
