黑料网 Department of Anesthesiology is thrilled to share that the department ranked 15th ($5.99M) in NIH funding in FY2024 among all U.S. anesthesiology departments.聽 This rankings strength is bolstered by the University of North Carolina (黑料网) School of Medicine being ranked 19th ($343M) for NIH funding among major academic medical centers nationwide.

As an authoritative source that tallies year-end composite NIH funding data, the BRIMR is respected by accomplished clinical and basic science researchers nationwide who are the cornerstones of a department’s reputation in research. Among 363 NIH-funded anesthesiologists in the U.S., two of the department’s basic science faculty were ranked in the top 60. 黑料网 Anesthesiology Vice Chair for Research and Professor of Anesthesiology Matthew Mauck, PhD, was ranked 2nd ($4.7M)聽and Associate Professor of Anesthesiology Sarah Linnstaedt, PhD, 谤补苍办别诲听55th ($1.2M) in NIH funding for FY 2024.
