I study how moderate alcohol drinking changes leads to long-lasting changes in brain function and behavior. One of my goals is to use pharmacology to identify molecular mechanisms that lead to reductions in alcohol drinking.

I study the role of the prefrontal cortex in flexible decision making. I鈥檓 interested in the negative consequences of alcohol exposure during development.

I study changes that occur in the brain and in behavior with alcohol use. My focus is on how alcohol use can turn into addiction and the biological processes that regulate relapse.
