Dr. Claire Larson will lead interprofessional educational experience for Medical Students, Nursing Students and Certified Nursing Assistants to incorporate the 4M’s of Geriatrics Care at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chapel Hill.聽 The 4M’s include assessing a resident’s mobility, medications, mentation and What Matters to that patient.聽 Assessing the 4M’s in a team leads to higher quality care according to the John A. Hartford Foundation and the American Geriatrics Society.
