About the Research
The objective of the study is to develop a decision aid to support decisions about whether to join HIV remission trials. To meet this objective, the study includes rounds of interviews with people living with HIV and HIV clinical trial team members. These interviews allow us to create educational content that is acceptable and informative to people living with HIV, and to support the informed consent process. We also have regular engagement with community advisory boards and will conduct a community meeting to get broader feedback on our decision aid. At the end of this study we will have a decision aid that has been developed and tested with direct involvement of people living with HIV and clinical trial teams.
