Clinical Research Coordinator
Sam Shapiro is a clinical research coordinator working under Dr. Jager-Hyman on the AASET-SP study. She graduated cum laude from Princeton University in 2021 with a Bachelors of Arts in Politics. Since graduation, she has spent the last two years focused on improving mental health resources for different populations. Prior to joining this study, she worked as a research assistant at the Children鈥檚 Hospital of Philadelphia for a study on depression prevention and a volunteer for a suicide prevention hotline. She is pursuing a Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) in School and Mental Health Counseling at the University of Pennsylvania鈥檚 program to become a licensed LPC. She also is a current intern at Philadelphia Mental Health Center.
