Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator

Julia Heinly is a full-time assistant clinical research coordinator at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s TEACCH Autism Program. In May of 2020, she graduated from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She worked as an Exceptional Children Teacher Assistant at Guy B. Phillips Middle School before joining the TEACCH Research Team in January of 2022. Julia is grateful to contribute to a project that authentically involves autistic partners and includes a diverse group of other collaborators united by the shared goal of saving lives by improving suicide prevention for autistic youth and young adults.
