Dena Gassner is a Ph.D. candidate at Adelphi University doing research related to systems navigation barriers. She is an appointed member of the federal Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC) and a national board member for the Institute for Exceptional Care where she also co-chairs the Education Committee. Her most recent work included presenting a panel at INSAR on Maternity and Obstetric Outcomes for Autistic Women. She is frequently published and provides consultation on multiple training and research projects.
